Our bike tours (and bike and boat tours) in Holland during the tulip season are among our most popular trips – and for good reason! From the end of March to mid-May (weather dependent), the Dutch landscape is transformed. The fields awaken with the blooming of crocuses, daffodils, hyacinths, and the national flower of Holland, the tulip.
The Keukenhof – the largest flower garden in the world – opens its gates, revealing the splendor of more than 7 million flowers in bloom. Meanwhile, towns all over Holland bustle with markets selling bouquets of stunning flowers, especially Aalsmeer, the 'World's Flower Market'.

I think the tours themselves attract positive people who are flexible and willing to adjust, because this group of strangers from all over Europe and the US got along like a group of old friends. “Love cycling a country. It is the best were to see the countryside and interact with the locals. Holland was wonderful, but missed the peak tulips by about 2-3 weeks. Museums in Amsterdam are a must.”
