The true taste of Tallinn
A Tallinn taste adventure on two wheels awaits! Sample authentic Estonian food at the Balti Jaam Market, and discover the tantalizing histories of the Seaplane Harbor, Patarei Prison, Kalamaja, and, of course, the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Old Town. With the added benefit of bike rental, this guided day tour is a dish of discoveries that can’t be passed up. Think smoked meat, homemade bread, and sweet desserts!
En route to Balti Jaam Market, your guided bicycle tour takes you pedaling up to Patarei Prison, commonly known as the Battery Prison or Patarei Sea Fortress. This truly commanding structure is an imposing feature of Tallinn’s cityscape, its reflection ruling over a large part of Tallinn Bay. In contrast, Seaplane Harbor is an idyllic location when biking the bay, nestling bright boats in what was once the area of Peter the Great’s naval fortress. Take in the tranquil atmosphere before your sightseeing cycle continues to Kalamaja.
Translated as ‘Fish House’ from Estonian, Kalamaja is a jewel in Old Town’s crown, offering trendy boutiques, renowned restaurants, and quirky galleries. Kalamaja is also home to the star of your show - Balti Jaam Market! With three floors, this market is bursting with authentic Estonian flavors and mouth watering wares - stalls overflow with fresh produce, beautifully presented baked goods, and all manner of magnificent meat and fish. Street food hawkers sell scrumptious Estonian bites and bakes, as well as cuisine from around the world. You’ll take your pick of the market and enjoy a food tasting at KamaKama Studio.
If you’re after a full itinerary and a full tummy, this is the Tallinn bicycle tour for you!

Incredible Ride & Meal
· Tallinn Bike Tour with Market Visit & Food Tasting
This was a highlight of our trip. We loved learning the history of the city while biking around. The guide (I think his name was Roland?) was excellent and the food was incredible. I knew very little about Estonia but I now have a ton of respect for the country.

A splendid tootle around town ending with an incredible meal
· Tallinn Bike Tour with Market Visit & Food Tasting
Enjoyed a small group ride. Roland was a top notch guide. Well informed about the history and culture but also had a great sense of humor. An easy pace ride through various Tallinn neighborhoods. Mostly outside of old town which is appreciative since old town is cobblestone heavy. A 20 mins stop at the market which was lovely so a nice bathroom break and quick refreshment but don’t eat to much because is coming! 90% flat but we were doing well on time so our guide took us to the top of Toompea area so we had a tiny portion of incline but well worth it. I am absolutely loved the food tasting was a sit down meal made by local chefs. The food was incredible and we enjoyed the fellowship and conversation with other travelers. Highly recommend.
