Sip and cycle your way around Split!

Spend the day immersed in Split’s spectacular sightseeing opportunities before topping your day tour off with a tantalizing local wine tasting! This brilliant bike tour is your opportunity to cycle to the sights of the city, uncovering the incredible culture of Croatia, before tasting the iconic flavors of its fabulous wine. Blissful!

Your unique bicycle tour kicks off under the magical mural on Plinarska Street, from where your guided tour will get going through the vibrant Varos neighborhood. Soak up the sights and sounds of authentic Croatia as you pedal to the Poljud Stadium, an architectural wonder that hosts one of Croatia’s oldest football teams - Hajduk Split. This team has a cult following, and thousands of fans flock to this stadium to watch their heroes in action.

As you explore the stadium’s remarkable exterior, your guide will divulge the history of the Mediterranean Games, of Hajduk Split, and of the terrific passion of the Torcida supporters who fill this stadium.

Your day tour then makes its way into the serene natural park of Marjan Forest, a sublimely peaceful oasis in the city which boasts incredible seaside viewpoints for those enviable photo opportunities!

En route to Marjan, your bicycle tour will make a stop at Bene for an insight into the interesting origins of the Zinfandel grape variety and its connection to the Dalmatian Coast. As you cycle up Marjan, you’ll pass by the Institute and the charming St. Jere Church, a symbol of tranquility amongst the verdant scenery that epitomizes Croatia’s sublime fusion of natural beauty and cultural heritage.

Follow your guide back down through Varos to the Matejuska Dock and explore this bustling social hub, a beloved meeting point for the Split locals. As you cycle on, your guide will regale you with intriguing stories of the grand Diocletian’s Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that once stood as an exquisite retirement home for the Roman Emperor Diocletian and now forms an arresting landmark in Split’s bustling city center.

Ride on along the picturesque Riva promenade and pedal through the vibrant Pazar Market, then glide under the iconic Golden Gate - another icon of Split’s ancient Roman heritage.

Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for - the wine tasting! Park up your bicycle outside the Jelaska House, brilliantly situated opposite the attractive Croatian National Theatre. Make a toast to Split and indulge in a selection of tantalizing local wines, paired with sumptuous traditional cheeses and tender prosciutto. Divine!
