Day 1: Arrival to San Miguel de Abona
From the airport, you'll be transported to your first hotel in San Miguel de Abona. Located on the southern coast, this town offers proximity to beautiful beaches. The second climb of the week to Mount Teide is from the southern approach, passing through Vilaflor en route to El Teide. Pause for a coffee break at the summit and enjoy the remarkable views before descending back to the hotel. Day 6: Santa Cruz - Masca - Garachico - Santa Cruz (25 mi. - 31 mi. - 44 mi. / 40 km - 50 km - 65 km)
Today's route spans from Chio in the northwest of the island down the renowned switchbacks to reach the village of Masca. From here, you'll continue towards the coastal town of Garachico, navigating the stunning and tranquil Las Cruces climb to conclude the ride. Day 7: Santa Cruz - Anaga Natural Park - La Laguna - Santa cruz (28 mi. - 40 mi. - 44 mi. / 45 km - 65 km - 70 km)
Explore the northeast today, conquering the challenging Bailadero climb to reach Anaga's UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Anaga boasts tall mountains, deep valleys with laurel forests, and panoramic views extending to Mt Teide. Day 8: Departure from Santa Cruz
Santa Cruz de Tenerife is known for its mix of modern and historical landmarks like the Auditorio de Tenerife and Plaza de España. If time allows, spend the day shopping along Calle Castillo and enjoying local cuisine. When it's time for departure, you will be transported back to the airport. -
