Discover the best of the Eternal City

Take in the major historic and cultural sites of Rome in just a few hours on the Rome City Center E-Bike Tour! This bicycle tour takes in the Eternal City’s most important sites, including the Piazza Del Popolo, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Venezia, the Roman Forum and Palatine, Circus Maximus, the Jewish Ghetto, Tiber Island, Campo De' Fiori, Piazza Navona, and Castel Sant'Angelo.

Begin your bicycle tour at the Piazza Del Popolo, a large square that once marked the northern entrance to the city of Rome and the beginning of the Via Flaminia, the most important Roman road north out of the city. Cycle on to the Spanish Steps, an elegant stairway linking the Trinta Del Monti church above to the plaza below.

Your day tour then makes a stop at one of Rome's most iconic sites: the Trevi Fountain. Throw a coin into one of the world's most iconic water features and listen as your guide explains the history of this Baroque monument. Your guide will lead you on to the Piazza Venezia where you'll witness the convergence of modern and ancient symbolism at the intersection of the city's thoroughfares, as well as the site of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a monument to Italy's first king.

Ride on to the Roman Forum and Palatine before stopping at the Colosseum, the largest amphitheater ever built, for an unforgettable immersion into Roman history. Your bicycle tour then continues to the ancient Roman chariot racing course of Circus Maximus before pedaling on to Bocca Della Verita', or the 'Mouth of Truth', an ancient marble mask said to bite off liars' hands.

Your ride continues to the Jewish Ghetto where your guide will explain the history of the longest-standing Jewish community in the world outside of the Middle East. Ride on to Tiber Island, the only island in the Tiber River in the capital, before cycling to Campo De' Fiori, a popular square where street markets and cafe terraces draw locals and visitors alike to soak up the relaxed atmosphere.

Pedal on to Piazza Navona, a large public plaza lined with some of the most significant examples of Italian Baroque architecture in the city. Your guide will explain the long history and architectural brilliance of buildings like the Palazzo Pamphili and fountains like the Fontana Del Moro.

Continue to Castel Sant'Angelo, the final stop on this city tour, to marvel at the cylindrical construction built by the Emperor Hadrian as a mausoleum for himself and his family that once claimed the title of the tallest building in Rome. After just a few hours of cycling, you’ll have finished your bike tour with a new-found knowledge of Rome’s most iconic sites and the captivating histories that accompany them.
