· Howth Peninsula E-Bike Tour
I recently took part in an incredible 3-hour e-bike tour around the beautiful Howth Peninsula in Dublin, and I can’t recommend it enough! Our group of six riders was guided by a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide, with a helpful back sweeper making sure no one got left behind. We were all equipped with quality e-bikes, helmets, and bright red high-vis vests, making the ride safe and comfortable.
The 17.5km route included a great mix of terrain—some light off-road gravel and dirt paths, smooth cycle lanes, and quiet road sections. It’s totally suitable for anyone who can ride a bike, and the e-bikes made hills a breeze. We stopped often for photos and to hear fascinating local stories and historical insights from the guide. The scenery was absolutely stunning throughout. If you're looking for a fun, active, and scenic way to explore Howth, this tour is a must!

The routes showcased a stunning variety of landscapes, including canals, cities, windmills, farms, ferry crossings, and coastal sand dunes. The modern hotels offered warm welcomes and hearty breakfasts, making the journey both comfortable and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

· Ho Chi Minh City Urban Bike Tour
We loved the ride in Ho Chi Minh City. Learning to navigate the crazy traffic was exhilarating, and made easy by our wonderful guide, Sarane, and by the early start on Saturday morning when traffic was a little lighter, though it soon built up! Sarane showed us many of the main sights and temples in the city, and his knowledge was exceptional. We also did the Countryside tour with Sarane the following day; obviously very different but equally enjoyable. Sarane adapted it to our timeframe as we were the only ones on the tour, and both days he found us amazing coffee, and the chance to see a traditional coffee-making process in one of the cafes. The tours were highly memorable experiences and we highly recommend them!

Istanbul on bikes is a unique experience. I would never try it without a guide. The bike lanes are as rare as good road. However with a guide there are ways to see the sites. Our guide, Furkan was a delight. He guided is to many unique sites while giving us a glimpse into life as a Istanbul local. Bravo!

· Granada, White Villages and Costa del Sol
We had a great experience and the level of service that Jorge & Antonio provided made the difference in making this a truly amazing trip. Jorge kept in touch with us daily to ensure all was good, our luggage always arrived at the destination ahead of us. We had new bikes, and when the odd thing went wrong with the equipment Antonio came and repaired what needed fixing. The only issue we had was the Garmin, which ran out of power, so they arranged for a power pack that extended its range .
We would recommend them to anyone, it made the trip enjoyable knowing they could be contacted if anything went wrong.- What was the date of your tour?

E bike ride
· Granada, White Villages and Costa del Sol
Great way to see Spain off the beaten track. New e bikes from Bicicletas La Estacion in Granada, we had an issue with brakes on one of the bikes and GPS running out of battery on our way to Loja, Antonio picked up, fixed and returned bike same night and brought back up battery for the GPS. We really recommend renting the GPS as map books are difficult to follow. Ground handler, Jorge, was awesome, he was in contact with us daily and responded immediately to any issues we had. Caminito del Rey is unbelievably beautiful, but don’t go with high expectations of Hotel La Gargantua as it is comfortable, but it is nothing like the other hotels and Paradors which exceeded expectations. We stayed two nights in Antequera and Ronda which we recommend. If you are on an ebike, conserve your battery as much as you can from Caminito to Ronda as it is a good climb. Lastly, dealing with Penelope from Bike tours.com made the planning of the trip effortless.

Our October 2024 (9th biking tour) tour began in Dobbiaco, taking us through some of the most stunning bike trails we have ever encountered. The support provided by the tour company was exceptional, featuring a dedicated app and constant availability via WhatsApp.
The bikes we used were top-notch and impeccably maintained—I even found myself wanting to purchase the same brand for personal use at home. Our accommodations were charming, with the usual mix of lovely stays and the occasional less-than-perfect hotel.
Please consider arriving in Dobbiaco a full day before. There are lakes and hikes you can do before your trip. I wish we had done that :-)

Embarking on our 10th bike tour, we ventured from Leon to Santiago using e-bikes for the first time. The journey was both exciting and challenging, offering breathtaking scenery throughout. Despite it being early spring with many closed hotels, the route was well-planned and curated for us, thanks to Sergio and his team.
The transition from paved roads in bustling areas to thrilling mountain biking paths was seamless. Potential travelers should be prepared for a significant amount of MTB terrain, making the journey quite challenging. The well-maintained e-bikes provided a sense of safety and reliability throughout our trip. In case of any issues, we were equipped with repair tools and had Sergio readily available to address any questions.
We experienced a mix of accommodations, from charming hotels to more practical one-night stays, which complemented the tour perfectly. Overall, it was a rewarding adventure that left us feeling a sense of accomplishment.

This was a super fun tour with high quality e-bikes and especially a SUPERB guide, Peter Mendes. Peter made sure we safely navigated the streets (and hills!) of Lisbon, and he was extremely informative about the history and culture of both Lisbon and Portugal. Great experience, but ...
· Amsterdam City Bike Tour
We rather stayed in outskirts and saw little of the main sights. As I have been in Amsterdam before, it was ok for me. As we drove on regular streets to a great extent, I would recommend safety gear (at least a helmet), as I came very close being run over by a mofa. Shakira did a great job keeping group together as we all had different experience with cycling.

· Catalonia's Region of Empordà by Gravel Bike
We had a fantastic time on this tour. For one thing, the scenery is great, and being on gravel for a lot of the time means you get to appreciate it a bit more than we have on more road-oriented tours where we have to pay more attention to traffic.
In particular the scenery along the coasts was great, and it was obvious that great care had been taken with the routes so that we'd get to see some of the best that the Costa Brava has to offer.
Perhaps our favorite part of the tour was the local operator. They were extremely helpful and easy to reach, and always stayed in touch to make sure that everything was going well. On a day with bad weather they specifically gave us some routing tips to make sure that we'd stay safe. They also were very well organized with how they provided the routes via Ride with GPS that made it really easy to see the recommended sites and restaurants in the towns we passed through.

· Highlights of Central Park New York Bike Tour
Central Park is HUGE so exploring it on bike makes perfect sense. After grabbing our bikes, we made our way the two blocks to Central Park and began our cycle.
Our tour guide, Dan, was amazing, and made the tour that much better. The group was made up of 1 Irish, 2 English, and 2 Dutch and Dan found a way to bring all his facts back to our countries of origin. For example, when he gave us some facts about 5th Avenue as a shopping destination, he compared it to Grafton Street in Dublin, Bond Street in London, and I can't remember for Holland but I thought he went above and beyond. Dan played music along the way (yes, he takes requests) and made the tour so much fun. Not only did we get to see all the cool parts of the park, Dan is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to New York and told lots of great stories along the way.
I highly recommend this tour. My only advice - if you're doing it in March like I did, bring extra warm gloves!
