Fantastic Trip!
Holland’s Southern Tour Bike and Barge
This is a great way to see the country. The team was great, friendly, and helpful. The meals were wonderful. Our guide, Marjan, was calm, patient, and really knew the territory. I enjoyed the evening walks through the towns as she explained a bit about the history as well.

Great biking adventure
Holland by Bike and Boat, Southern Tour
Holland is a beautiful country and there is no better way to see it and experience it than on a bike. We have never been on bike paths like they have, whether in a city or the middle of nowhere. We had great food at our lunch stops and everyone we met, passengers, crew and the locals were friendly. The boat was really nice as were the bikes. We plan to do another trip with BikeTours.

Wonderful trip!!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Magnifique II (and reverse)
We had an amazing time on our Amsterdam-Bruges Bike and Boat trip on the Magnifique II! The boat was very comfortable, the food was delicious, the staff was amazing, and the guides were terrific! It was a very unique way to see the Netherlands and Belgium. We will be back again!!

Tulips, Windmills, Canals and Camaraderie!
Holland’s Super Tulip Tour
The Super Tulip Tour (Barge: Zwaan @ 14 passengers and 4 crew) was truly a delight from beginning to end. Our group of 8 Americans, 2 Canadians, 2 Norwegians and 2 French enjoyed polder pedaling, canal crossings and windmill wonders while taking in the tulip fields/gardens. The meals were served family style and were amazing! The rooms were well equipped with wifi, hair dryers, etc. and the crew was eager to please.

First biking vacation but won't be our last!
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
This was our first biking vacation and what a wonderful time we had. The Magnifique 111 was a beautiful barge with all the amenities. The crew and guides were excellent. Thank you Bas, Ingeborg, Sigrid, Alexandra, Derk Jan, Marnik, Corrie and Wilmie. A special thanks to Corrie and Wilmie (our bike guides) who got up a 5:30 am on our last day to see us off and make sure our taxi showed up to take us to the airport. The meals on board were excellent as well as the service. The whole crew went above and beyond all week. The biking route was very scenic and was a route for beginners. It was mostly flat as described with a few inclines mostly going over bridges. Looking forward to another biking trip.

Magnifique II bike trip
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
The staff and barge accommodations were excellent. Our chef prepared gourmet meals every night that were delicious. The bikes were very comfortable and easy to ride. It was a great way to see the countryside. We went from Amsterdam to Bruges and had a head wind most of the way. I might do the reverse trip if I had known. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
I loved seeing Belgium and Netherlands by the calm pace of the bike and barge. It was exciting to see and experience the cities, small towns and villages, countryside, canals, forests, and farms & communities where people lived. The barge was comfortable, staff was great and the food on the barge was fabulous. I would definitely consider another trip by bike and barge.

Very nice bike and boat trip
Holland’s Southern Tour Bike and Barge
Perfect way to feeling the best of holland. One good ideia is to offer the same tour but with the possibility of the bikers to choose by themselves the dinner in local restaurants.

fantastic trip, fantastic crew
Amsterdam – Gouda – Bruges by Bike and Boat
Wonderful crew and wonderful guide Winnie! Everything was as good as described on the website or better. The Anna Antal is a modest but very comfortable boat. Because the tour was small, all 17 passengers on board all got to know each other and the staff well as we traveled together for the week. Even though the crew was working together on this boat for the first time, they worked together as a great team and made us all feel so welcome and comfortable. And the food was fabulous for the entire week. We couldn't have had a better time! thank you!

What a way to see the country! Our guide Winny was fun knowledgeable and open to suggestions. The crew in the Anna Antal were excellent,helpful and participated in our evening conversations and fun. I also have to say that the cook Nicole gave us amazing food!! So enjoyed by all. We would highly recommend this trip, cycling was easy and sites were wonderful! Thankyou so much

Bike & Barge Tour
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
My husband and I both had a great time on our tour. We biked from Brugge to Amsterdam. Our guide was knowledgeable, the food was fabulous and we enjoyed getting to know the other bikers as we traveled through beautiful country. We highly recommend.

The BEST of Holland
Cycling the Dutch Countryside from Zaandam to Kampen
From the moment we met Peter, we knew that our tour would be wonderful. Everything from the bikes to the GPS to the planning was top-notch. Both two 50-somethings and two teenagers had a tremendous time being outside during the day (taking scenic routes) and in wonderful towns and hotels at night. Truly a great trip! Note that the cycling is a little bit strenuous...not bad, but not nothing, either!

Great bike and boating trip!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
Our guide Seitse was terrific - very knowledgeable about the areas and routes. The crew on board Sailing Home made us feel very welcome and the food was excellent. The riding was quite pleasant (very flat almost everywhere) such that we rarely turned on our ebikes. Overall, it was a great way to see parts of Belgium and the Netherlands.

Exceeded expectations
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
There are many things we discovered about both Belgium and Netherlands as a result of the excellent guides and crew.
Food - excellent and exceeded expectations
Guides were very good and navigated well. They also provided much info about the culture and history.
I believe Bruge to Amsterdam has more tail winds
The "barge" (Magnifique 2) is actually a well equipped ship.
The captain provided a few docking performances and the harbor cruise through Antwerp was fun.

Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
The Bike Barge tour from Bruges to Amsterdam on Magnifique II was outstanding. I put together a group of 15 people for the tour. Each and every one of us was impressed by the boat, bike routes, leaders, crew, food and many other amenities. The riding was at a very casual pace so as to enjoy all of the sights. We had time to explore areas that we stopped at. At the end of each day the crew put out food and drink for us post ride. The dinners were prepared by an expert chef and the state rooms were clean an comfortable. I would recommend this trip to anyone who loves to explore, has a basic level of fitness as well as a fun loving spirit.

Very relaxing trip on a luxurious barge
Amsterdam – Bruges by Bike and Boat – Princesse Royal
Excellent crew and guides. The cabins were very comfortable and air conditioned. The food was very good and varied. The dining area could have done with some extra air conditioning, especially as we experienced temperatures in excess of 39c. The bikes, although suitable for the flat terrain, could do with an upgrade.
The guides showed good knowledge of the routes and history of the region. The crew were very helpful and friendly and certainly made it a trip to remember.
