Cycling at Its Best!
Romantic Road from Würzburg to Donauwörth
We thoroughly enjoyed the cycling between Würzburg and Donauwörth. Germany has such great cycling infrastructure. The roads we travelled were mostly car-free. Often we cycled through agricultural land with good pavement, brick, or crushed stone. Each day brought us to a new medieval town to explore. The accommodations were nice and convenient to town centers making it easy to drop off the bikes at the hotels and tour the towns on foot. All hotels were bike friendly and had places to store the bikes when we were not using them. The scenery was lovely. We highly recommend this trip!
For first-time users, the Komoot App was challenging to use. It is not personalized and the routes do not take you to your hotel each day. You have to navigate from the general route map to your hotel yourself, which can be challenging.

Great way to see the countryside!
Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
This was my first biking tour and was such an amazing way to travel from town to town. The route was a mix of bike trail, gravel/dirt roads, and streets. The bikes were in excellent condition and handled the minor off roading with minimal effort. Having our baggage moved from hotel to hotel was seamless and so convenient.

Great route
Innsbruck to Lake Garda Across the Southern Slopes of the Alps
A great route - varied and spectacular scenery. We were very lucky with weather but September is a great month for this trip because of apple and grape harvesting. Hotels were all good with one exception. Breakfasts good also. Bike equipment very good.

Swiss Trip
Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
Beautiful way to experience Switzerland. Good workout everyday, Hotels were nice and breakfast was very good. Route was generally good but some spots with heavy traffic. Route signs were usually easy to follow but some signs were in odd spots and hard to find. Road surfaces were outstanding. The rest day gave us time to explore the area.

Beautiful ride along the Danube
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
A perfect way to see Austria and do it at our own pace. Lodging was outstanding, equipment was better than expected and a very memorable trip! I was disappointed in the bike fitting (cancelled by tour company) and we had concerns and little support for adjustments. The trip did not get off on a good note - otherwise would have been a 5 rating.

Of the nearly dozen bike trips we’ve taken, the sights and the bike paths were probably the best. Biketours.com was very helpful in organizing us for the trip.

Surpassed expectations
Best of Holland South: Canals, Windmills & Historic Towns
I had a few days off prior to a conference. What a perfect way to see the countryside, get over a long haul flight and jet lag. I chose the tour mostly for convenience but loved (almost every) minute of it! The bike, the route, the countryside , tbe towns, the windmills, the sand dunes, the hotels were so delightful I smiled like a child at Christmas for most of the trip. The hour or so cycling through the garden areas are not interesting out of season but that was a minor detraction on what was a fabulous reviver of a trip. Thank you to Pieter for his support and kind attention. Highly recommended.

Beautiful Island wtih amazing E-Bikes!
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
This was a wonderful way to explore the Dalmatian Islands of Croatia. We loved the experience so much so that we are looking to plan the next one soon! Our bike contractor was just wonderful with our fittings and a quick visit to make some adjustments before we left the City of Split. Fantastic team!

This was my 6th ride with Biketours.com, It was a nice ride, but not as amazing as some of the other rides we have been on. There a few hills but nothing too difficult on a regular, non- electric bike. The hotels were comfortable and clean and the scenery was pretty.

The Istrian Peninsula by Electric Bike
I had a great time on this bike tour, and Tony and Dominic (Dominik) made it truly special. Both of them were so friendly, and we spoke for hours, exchanging stories and having a great time together. I can’t imagine doing the tour without them!

First and best e-bike tour!!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
Fabulous way to take in the sights, sounds and smells of this beautiful area at our own pace on the self-guided tour. The information we were provided with prior to setting out - plus the GPS navigation tool - made us feel very comfortable and in control of our time each day. Daniel, our host, provided outstanding service - starting with an excellent briefing in Girona at the beginning of the tour - and everything he promised was delivered on or exceeded. The distances each day on the e-bikes were very achievable for anyone with a moderate level of fitness. The luggage transfers were seamless. The accommodation was excellent each night! Not five star - but beautiful locations and very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the tour.

Fantastic trip!
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
This was our 3rd ride with Biketours. It was a fantastic and enjoyable as the previous 2. The local tour company did a great job with the app and book for navigation. The upscale lodging was just that. All fantastic and of course the European breakfast can't be beat. The Danube path was mostly flat, well-marked, and full of highlights—Passau’s charm, the Wachau Valley, Melk Abbey, and Vienna’s grandeur. Daily luggage transfers made travel easy, and we enjoyed the freedom to stop for coffee, pastries, or wine tastings whenever we wanted. Comfortable inns, great food, and stunning scenery made each day memorable. Arriving in Vienna by bike felt like a real accomplishment. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a scenic, flexible, and stress-free cycling vacation.

Good food, spectacular hotels, and beautiful scenery. They're based near Pienza. Juliana and Marko from the tour operator, in addition to booking the hotels, provided first class bikes, good routes, excellent navigation, and attentive service.

Not ideal
Bolzano to Verona: Orchards, Mountains & Timeless Culture
Sorry, this tour was not great. We have used biketours.com for five different trips and this was our least favorite. The hotels were way out of the city centers making it difficult to get dinner or see sights after biking. The routes were not well planned.
