A brilliant tour
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
We had a fabulous tour with Alex our tour leader doing a great job as our guide while Gari was a terrific back up driver. Both were extremely helpful and good company. We used electric bikes and are glad we did as there are many steep hill climbs and descents on this tour. The scenery is wonderful and travelling through three countries was a real treat. We arranged a rest day in Kotor which was a wonderful break in a very lovely setting. The scenery along the whole route, perhaps particularly in Montenegro and Croatia, is stunning and the tour took us on many interesting and good roads, and, while there were occasional very busy roads, Alex and Gary managed our passage extremely well. The meals provided, especially the lunches, were terrific and much better than I had anticipated, with different places selected including a winery, olive grove and standout cevapi restaurant in Bosnia.

Dalmation Coast, Croatia Boat and bike - a unique experience!

What a wonderful way to see this part of Croatia!
It was a unique experience for us. I liked the combination of an active component to the holiday and cultural experience. Living aboard a mechanized sailboat while exploring some of the Dalmation islands was a great way to combine sightseeing with accommodation. The bike and tour guides, as well as boat crew were wonderful and did all they could to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying the tour.- What was the date of your tour?

Always a fan of Croatia for biking!
National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
The Boat & Biking along the Dalmatia coast and islands was wonderful. As it was October, the weather was perfect, sunny, warm but not hot with chilly mornings but we warmed up quickly once on the bikes. No rain, lucky us. The views are dramatic and various towns the boat stopped at charming. This was our second boat and bike trip in Croatia. Can't say enough goods things about the country except "Go and experience it!" Our boat was comfortable, food delicious, crew very pleasant and helpful, e-bikes worked well and last but not least the two guides were absolutely fabulous. A great trip.

This trip is one of the best trips I have ever been on - - and I have been on many. The scenery, riding, food, history and interesting islands visited make each day a true pleasure. I thoroughly recommend this trip to anyone and everyone!!

Croatia Biking and boating
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
Croatia is beautiful and can be challenging for biking. Ebikes made this challenge achievable. Boat was beautiful and comfortable. Food was excellent. Crew and staff were just great - friendly and capable. Guides were energetic and very knowledgeable. Great way to see Croatia. Only complaint was be unable to use credit card for drinks on board. Made calculating cash (and then converting to euros) much harder. Can't see why they don't accept credit cards for that.

A complete joy
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
What a way to meet Croatia. Fantastic bikes, boat, leaders and group. I had just a fantastic week.... from the first tour (a walk around Split) so interesting. Great rides - some long and some shorter - all fun and interesting.... beautiful views. Lucky to meet a lovely group of riders, all keen and on time. The leaders kept us across everything but never overwhelmed us with info.
Only issue - i found it difficult to locate the boat.... there was no clip board outside on the street and it took 4-5 phone calls with the contact person to finally locate the boat. Others told me they had the same experience. The food was also very good.- What was the date of your tour?

30 year wedding anniversary trip
Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
We had a wonderful time learning about Croatia and exploring the islands on our bicycles each day. We did the self- guided tour and found the GPS easy to use and accurate to our accommodations each night. Beautiful country and amazing people.

Fantastic Trip!
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
What a great way to see the Dalmatian Islands for the first time. The planning and leadership from our guides, Ivan and Martine, were superb, the food on board Romantica was generous and good, and the crew were very helpful. Travelling by sea and bike was a wonderful way to experience the beauty, history and culture of Croatia. Communication and information from Bike Tours was clear and helpful. The trip struck a nice balance by providing time to relax on the boat, time to bike in the mornings and early afternoons, and time to explore on our own the ports we visited. This was our first time doing a boat and bike tour and our expectations were met and exceeded at every point--highly recommended!

Dubrovnik Bike Tour with Wine Tasting

Danube Experience Bike and Boat Passau-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Iron Gates-Passau
Boat accommodations, staff and meals were excellent. Excursions were excellent. Tour director was excellent. Internet and cell services were spotty. Navigation app did not work consistently. Some days there was not enough time to stop and see things along the bike route.

Lovely trip
Danube Experience Bike and Boat Passau-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Iron Gates-Passau
There was an unforeseen closure of the Danube due to bridge construction. This caused us to spend extra time on the boat. We had 2 full days on the boat with almost nothing to do. I think there could have been a bit of planning to provide activities in the event that plans change. They did give a class on how to change a bike tire which was good but that only took an hour. Dance or knitting classes, group games, contests, something to occupy a very active biking group would have been great.
The packing instruction seem to have been written for a shorter trip. There was plenty of room under the beds for luggage. There is no place in the rooms to set up a clothes line to dry clothing. - ★★★★★ Ben Haag
great sights on bikes!
South Dalmatia Bike/E-bike and Boat
boat, crew and islands were great....cabin was VERY disappointing! I paid for an above deck cabin and was places in a tiny cabin with no storage. There are 2 cabins like this on the boat, and a price difference is in order. We could nt access the bathroom without climbing over one another.

Road Bike Tour from Dubrovnik to Herzegovina & Back
The day-long ride from Dubrovnik to Bosnia (and back) with Bike Tours was a ride we will remember fondly for the rest of our lives. The scenery was spectacular, the route was interesting with a perfect balance of challenge and enjoyment.
Lunch was wonderful at Zavala - we were welcomed like old friends!
The day was memorable as the seasonal Bura wind made things cooler than normal. Everything was expertly and professionally managed by our guide, Alex. He was personable, knowledgeable and conscientious. He took great care of our safety, and made sure that we really enjoyed our day. He gave us thoughtful options for the route - and he even quickly and efficiently changed a tire puncture near the end of the ride! In addition to guiding our journey, Alex provided us with interesting information, good stories, and shared unique, firsthand knowledge of the culture. He even took a moment to pick some carob beans and introduced us to a new snack food!- What was the date of your tour?

stunning...but get an e-bike unless you are in great shape.
National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
Cool towns, friendly people, food is more on seafood side other ships can have more variety apparently. I've done this route - or variations of it - a few times. Highly recommend this e-bike tour to see the "game of thrones" part of Europe. Definitely go for a swim in the Adriatic.

Croatian Vineyards and Villages of Undiscovered Istria
The self-guided bike tour (Undiscovered vineyards and villages of Istria) was amazing. Our tour guide was excellent; he provided all the necessary information before we started and ensured the bikes were set up properly. The touring bikes we had were great, the maps were accurate and the accommodation excellent. Everything went according to plan and would definitely recommend this tour.

This was a wonderful way to explore the Dalmatian Islands of Croatia. We loved the experience so much so that we are looking to plan the next one soon! Our bike contractor was just wonderful with our fittings and a quick visit to make some adjustments before we left the City of Split. Fantastic team!

The Istrian Peninsula by Electric Bike
I had a great time on this bike tour, and Tony and Dominic (Dominik) made it truly special. Both of them were so friendly, and we spoke for hours, exchanging stories and having a great time together. I can’t imagine doing the tour without them!
