Nice Trip
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
The lodging was very nice. Provided Meals were good to very good. The provided bike was very good but developed shifting issues and tire rubbing issues as the trip went on. Since some group members got ebike upgrades, the operator worked on mine as he delivered the new bikes.
This trip needs to run in the opposite direction. The prevailing wind is just too strong at times. I was warned of that before the trip but took a chance on it. We really struggled at times. That also took away from the time we had for sightseeing. We wanted to explore sights along the way but didn't have the time as we tried to get to the next town at a reasonable time. If we had been going the opposite direction life would have been lots better. Also, we all paid for dinners, but two of us were told our dinners had not been paid for and we would have to pay for them. After much arguing we got our dinners but it was very awkward and uncomfortable.

Nice ride
Cycling Spain's Ebro River
We enjoyed our trip to Spain and were glad that we opted for e-bikes as our 70 year old legs would have had a hard time with the hills during the first few biking days. The bike staff were great and very attentive to our needs, they even went out of their way to return a lost iPad. We especially enjoyed Haro and LaGuardia. Both cities were what we were hoping to find in Spain.

Very Beautiful Trip
Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
Everything went as planned. The route from Prague to Dresden was stunning and each little town had its own charm and history. The hotels/pensions were perfectly nice, and each served a great breakfast to start the day. Bike Tours did a great job transferring the luggage, addressing any equipment issues, and picking great spots for our nightly dinners.

Enjoyable biking tours
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
Overall good experience. Had some hiccup pre-departure as the operator made a mistake on our one way transfer from Vienna to Passau and had to find our own transport last min, which we managed. Bikes were good quality and map app was easy to follow with a little help with Google map to get to the hotel sometime. The luggage forwarding was seamless. Some hotels are better than the others. We had a reasonable expectation of the upscale four stars so didn’t anticipate any luxury. They are good clean hotels that covers the basics and most of them are in good location except one due to book-out of the normal one they use.
We feel certain things can be improved but overall is a lovely experience even two days were raining.Overall we feel it was

Cycling at Its Best!
Romantic Road from Würzburg to Donauwörth
We thoroughly enjoyed the cycling between Würzburg and Donauwörth. Germany has such great cycling infrastructure. The roads we travelled were mostly car-free. Often we cycled through agricultural land with good pavement, brick, or crushed stone. Each day brought us to a new medieval town to explore. The accommodations were nice and convenient to town centers making it easy to drop off the bikes at the hotels and tour the towns on foot. All hotels were bike friendly and had places to store the bikes when we were not using them. The scenery was lovely. We highly recommend this trip!
For first-time users, the Komoot App was challenging to use. It is not personalized and the routes do not take you to your hotel each day. You have to navigate from the general route map to your hotel yourself, which can be challenging.

Great way to see the countryside!
Prague to Dresden Along the Vltava & Elbe Rivers
This was my first biking tour and was such an amazing way to travel from town to town. The route was a mix of bike trail, gravel/dirt roads, and streets. The bikes were in excellent condition and handled the minor off roading with minimal effort. Having our baggage moved from hotel to hotel was seamless and so convenient.

Great route
Innsbruck to Lake Garda Across the Southern Slopes of the Alps
A great route - varied and spectacular scenery. We were very lucky with weather but September is a great month for this trip because of apple and grape harvesting. Hotels were all good with one exception. Breakfasts good also. Bike equipment very good.

Swiss Trip
Swiss Lakes by E-bike: Lake Geneva to Lake Lucerne
Beautiful way to experience Switzerland. Good workout everyday, Hotels were nice and breakfast was very good. Route was generally good but some spots with heavy traffic. Route signs were usually easy to follow but some signs were in odd spots and hard to find. Road surfaces were outstanding. The rest day gave us time to explore the area.

Beautiful ride along the Danube
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
A perfect way to see Austria and do it at our own pace. Lodging was outstanding, equipment was better than expected and a very memorable trip! I was disappointed in the bike fitting (cancelled by tour company) and we had concerns and little support for adjustments. The trip did not get off on a good note - otherwise would have been a 5 rating.

Loire a Velo: Orleans to the Atlantic
Of the nearly dozen bike trips we’ve taken, the sights and the bike paths were probably the best. Biketours.com was very helpful in organizing us for the trip.

Amazing bike trip down the Loire
Custom and Private Bike Tours in France
We loved our custom bike trip we did with friends in the Loire River valley in France! Most of trip was on dedicated bike trails and one-lane roads shared with the occasional car. The 4 star hotels exceeded our expectations. The route was well organized and we found we could easily stay on the selected paths. Overall, it was a great experience and we want to do something like it again!

Surpassed expectations
Best of Holland South: Canals, Windmills & Historic Towns
I had a few days off prior to a conference. What a perfect way to see the countryside, get over a long haul flight and jet lag. I chose the tour mostly for convenience but loved (almost every) minute of it! The bike, the route, the countryside , tbe towns, the windmills, the sand dunes, the hotels were so delightful I smiled like a child at Christmas for most of the trip. The hour or so cycling through the garden areas are not interesting out of season but that was a minor detraction on what was a fabulous reviver of a trip. Thank you to Pieter for his support and kind attention. Highly recommended.

Split to Dubrovnik: The Islands and Coastline of Croatia
This was a wonderful way to explore the Dalmatian Islands of Croatia. We loved the experience so much so that we are looking to plan the next one soon! Nice trip

This was my 6th ride with Biketours.com, It was a nice ride, but not as amazing as some of the other rides we have been on. There a few hills but nothing too difficult on a regular, non- electric bike. The hotels were comfortable and clean and the scenery was pretty.

First and best e-bike tour!!
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
Fabulous way to take in the sights, sounds and smells of this beautiful area at our own pace on the self-guided tour. The information we were provided with prior to setting out - plus the GPS navigation tool - made us feel very comfortable and in control of our time each day. Daniel, our host, provided outstanding service - starting with an excellent briefing in Girona at the beginning of the tour - and everything he promised was delivered on or exceeded. The distances each day on the e-bikes were very achievable for anyone with a moderate level of fitness. The luggage transfers were seamless. The accommodation was excellent each night! Not five star - but beautiful locations and very comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend the tour.
