Italian jaunt
Bolzano – Verona – Venice
Great way to see northern Italy. Accommodations were fine, except for the last, where the room was difficult to access and the bathroom downright dangerous. Disappointing end to an otherwise lovely ride.

The RWGPS app was very accurate in providing instructions since roads are not marked and the terrain is challenging. Just one area with a rocky hill is not navigable with an eBike or road bikes and it takes about 15 minutes to walk up and then down the hill

Great Bike Tour
UNESCO Sites of Albania
The bike tour brought us to places I would never have visited, so it was a great way to see Albania up close and personal. The hotels were a mixed bag and you never knew what to expect. Being a single I tended to get shorted; a room that smelled badly of wood smoke and not clean, another with no windows (and we were at the beach), another I had to share b/c of a shortage of rooms. Not entirely what I was expecting. However, the meals were great and healthy. Our guide was excellent and offered much history about Albania. The support guy was fantastic too, always at the ready when needed. I would recommend this trip, just don’t expect frills.

Fabulous trip through wine country
Burgundy Wine Trails: Beaune to Macon on the “Voie Verte”
My wife and I very much enjoyed our trip. Very manageable stages done with normal peddle bikes. we in our mid 50's, generally in good shape but very casual cyclists. Interesting stops & scenery the whole way, and wonderful food and wine. Good mix of remote and rural stops as well as larger towns (Beane & Cluny). The end stop (Macon) is the least interesting, I don't suggest extra time there, but you are right next to the train station for a quick exit. Overall, highly recommended!

An epic trip!
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
It was our first bike trip (10/5/24 to 10/12/24) and exceeded our expectations on every level. It all felt seamless, from the ease of booking our guided tour through to the final transfer to the airport. The itinerary was well planned and each destination was captivating. The accommodations were very comfortable and charming. Our two guides, Alex and Alex (Juro) were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They went above and beyond in every way to make the journey especially memorable. Finally, the cost of this trip was reasonable compared to other operators offering similar tours. Great way to experience rural Greece
Greece: The Peloponnese Peninsula
We really enjoyed the tour. The small towns we stayed in were a delight to explore and the hotels were in good locations and had great character. When we had questions about the bikes or other issues, the tour company was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this bike tour to anyone. Most of us had e-bikes which were very much appreciated as there were climbs that were a bit challenging

Coastal Portugal
Portugal's Atlantic Coast
The tour was amazing. They’re definitely worth some heels, but the bikes made it a little bit easier. Scenery was very nice. Only occasionally did we have to ride close to traffic on the roads. The bike trails were great.

An Amazing Adventure
UNESCO Sites of Albania
All I can say is WOW!
But actually I will say a bit more.The scenery, the food, the people, the guides and of course the climbs- all made for an amazing 8 day journey in Albania.
Our guide Arjan was simply the best! He quickly got to know all 19 riders and made sure that we were comfortable with our bikes, rooms, etc His encouragement kept me going on those long and arduous climbs. Our driver and bike mechanic was a whizz on the road and with bike tools.
I loved the variety of places in which we stayed- from farmstays to luxury seaside hotels.
And the food- this is one of the only bike tours I have been on where every meal was provided. And it wasn't just peanut butter sandwiches. We were treated to a wide array of Albanian dishes - including lots of veggies, cheeses and freshly caught fish.
I am 70 and chose a road bike. While it was incredibly difficult at times, I am glad I stuck with my own pedal power. However, e-bikes are a fantastic option and unless you are a proficient climber, I would highly recommend an e-bike.
We had an incredible group of riders from around the world- from Australia to the US with numerous European countries in between.
The value of this tour was amazing. I give the tour company a lot of credit for providing a fantastic tour at a reasonable price.
The only recommendation I would have is to either limit the group to a smaller number or add an additional guide or helper.

The perfect way to discover Croatia. Enjoyed biking Split and three Dalmatian islands. Very safe and clean, with minimal traffic early October. Adriatic Sea and communities so beautiful.

Showcase for the Diversity of Catalonia
Medieval Villages of Catalonia
From the mountains to the sea - the first day's ride was spectacular! Dining options along the coast were wonderful. Inland, especially in the village of Monells, the options for dining were very limited. Accommodations were wonderful - welcoming and comfortable. The daily rides after the first day included challenging climbs, especially without an ebike, and some of the urban portions were in aggressive traffic, but overall, we found solitude and peace in this beautiful country, flying down the backsides of the hills we had conquered. The routes were easy to follow, and scenic and historical/cultural attractions were enjoyable too.

Seeing Albania On two wheels
UNESCO Sites of Albania
This was a most amazing tour… Filled with so many different areas and fantastic food! Both of our guides (Driver and rider) were very knowledgeable and fun.
The only comment I would make is for a group of 19 I feel there should've been two people on bikes, one in front one and back and also one driver.
Other than that, I would suggest this trip to anyone wanting to see the authentic Albania.

A Sometimes Rugged Ride
Algarve Coastal Route
Perfect organization for hotel pickup, delivering us to the start point, bike setup, luggage transportation, return to hotel at the finish, and transportation to the train station the next day.
We found some parts of the route in more rural areas were rough trails with hills too steep to climb on regular bikes. Too bad there isn’t a developed network of bike paths along the coast. Saw lots of wonderful scenery, though, and happened upon som great coffee and lunch stops. We did have a couple of times where we had trouble following the Garmins.- Countries included in this tour?

Highlights of the Swiss Rhine: Lake Constance to Basel
Absolutely an incredible experience, extremely well organised and everything taken care of. Could not have ask for anything more. Great way to see unique part of Spain
Cycling Spain’s Land of the Conquistadors
Bike delivery from Augustine was perfect, Paradors were great, typical Spanish breakfast was plentiful, map details were accurate, routes were all on roads which were for the most part low traffic but most all had an adequate shoulder. The local operator was very helpful to get us transported to the next Parador on a rainy day. Some moderate climbs, so some cycling experience would be advised. We did it at the beginning of October so cooler nights and warm days but not hot.

Disappointed
Danube Bike Path 8 Nights (Upscale Lodging)
Total lack of communication in not informing us that our biking would end 2 days early, which meant missing out biking through the Wachau valley . When I contacted Bike Tours that my husband was ill and could not make the trip. I should have been informed then that there were changes to the scheduled tour. The welcome meeting & bike fitting was a joke. There was absolutely no value in that 15 minute meeting. I had to adjust the handle bars myself and struggle through removing the battery for charging at the 1st two hotels that did not offer charging in the bike storage area. The electric bike itself was very good quality and comfortable to ride. The printed trip itinerary was easy to follow but did not offer much in the way of "do not miss" highlights along the way. In my opinion, only three of the hotels were worth the upscale category. I would not recommend this bike tour for anyone that has experienced quality bike tours previously.

I've been a number of European bike tours and this one was excellent. The mapped route is a nice change and variety of scenery.
Flat and through the vegetable filed when you leave Ljubljana then mild hills with vineyards and farms with a great ride down to the coast to Muggia with lots of olive tress and ending up in Piran, a very cool place on the Adriatic.- What was the date of your tour?

Cycling adventure
Prague-Vienna-Bratislava-Budapest
Navigation tools given(Garmin + maps) were very unreliable, especially entering and leaving cities - have had tours where line by line navigation instructions were provided as well as appropriate scale maps. Our group of 6 had 3 Garmins which were rarely in agreement - we then tried to follow whatever route on which 2 Garmins agreed. Czech Republic off road trails were very rough for the bikes provided - mountain bikes would have been more appropriate or better routes. We realize that due to unforeseen circumstances due to flooding on the Danube that route changes were necessary, but new routes were poorly described, and Garmins were now of no use- we resorted to Google Maps for navigation which occasionally placed us on roads which were too busy. Safety should be a prime concern, but navigation issues made this trip much more difficult and risky than originally described.
