Exceeded expectations
Wine & Cuisine in Girona's Emporda Plain
Bike tours, Catalonia was an exemplary tour operator for us. The entire entire office staff welcomed us and rallied around getting our bikes ready to start out on the tour. Our tour guide and sag wagon drivers were fantastic help, and great company throughout. Girona and the whole Costa Brava tour route Was most enjoyable. The beach resort center were very highly developed, and not the sort of bucolic experience we seek , but we’re nonetheless not unpleasant. We were not overly impressed by the restaurant cuisine, in particular found the Michelin star restaurant to be more pretentious than interesting. We would skip that to Ed in a more representative local restaurant another time.

Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
We loved Austria and biking on this route was great. The route is very well designed. We took traditional bikes and it was no problem at all. We wished it could have lasted longer with another segment. We were very lucky with the weather in September as it was sunny our entire journey but had rain when we arrived and on the day we departed.
Bike rental shop, equipment and all hotels were top notch!

Great trip
Dolomites to Venice Along the Old Dolomites Railway Track
This was a good bike trip . Perfect amount of time and length of bike days.
The hotels overall were good , although some of them were located outside of the towns /cities and made it harder to visit them .
There was very little or almost no instructions when we receive the bikes from the local supplier- Countries included in this tour?

Tauern Bike Path (Krimml-Passau)
Loved quiet rides in country and thru villages but dangerous conditions were not marked due to recent storms. We should have been notified and got onto dangerous routes.

No regrets!
Cycling the West Balkan Triangle
We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. The scenery along the coastline and inland was spectacular. We enjoyed riding the ascents and descents but were glad we decided to rent e-bikes. Some of the climbs are challenging.
Our guides ( Alex and Alex) were excellent. They were helpful, informative and kind.
We enjoyed the variety of accommodations along the way - each one unique. The lunches were good- usually very local which we enjoyed.
The only downside comment we have is that several times we had to ride on roads that were heavily trafficked with trucks and cars. This wasn’t a surprise but just rather unpleasant. We realized that it was necessary in order to get to some of the less traveled roads and beautiful scenery.- What was the date of your tour?

Girls on Bikes
Lake Constance Classic (11-nights)
The 6 of us really enjoyed our trip. We downloaded the KoMoot App for navigation and so glad we did. The paper instructions were much more difficult to follow and the digital instructions worked perfectly. The hotels were quite nice and the luggage went like clockwork. It was a great trip.

One of my best trips
Cycling and Cooking in Tuscany
This was the best way to see the beautiful countryside of Tuscany, Our two guides, Panos and Tom, were AMAZING. This is one of the best bike trips I have been on. The terrain was very doable with Ebikes. The accommodations and food were fabulous. Everything was very well organized. I would highly recommened this trip.

Appreciate the support throughout, especially handling paths closed due to flooding
Danube Bike Path 5-nights (Active)
Lovely trip, with great bike paths, gracious accommodations and excellent directions. We appreciated the hard work of the local hosts, who had to make daily route adjustments due to flooding conditions, but their communications were very good.

Idyllic landscape
Innsbruck to Salzburg: Through the Alps Along River Cycle Trails
I have never seen such beauty as along this trail in the Austrian Alps. Our accommodations were comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and our luggage was alway there before we arrived. My suggestion for making the trip more enjoyable is to make sure the Garmin has each day's route. Our's had many routes on it and that made it confusing. It would make more sense if only our routes were on it. Also, everyone should have a Garmin or use their google maps. Using the printed route map was impossible. Our ebikes were very comfortable and our trip was awesome! Thanks.

Our self-guided ride was a beautiful ride along the rivers on well marked bike paths and trails. The scenery was amazing and the hotels were very comfortable. It was a wonderful way to experience the Austrian countryside, towns and people. I enjoyed the ride so much, I'd like to do it again!

Adventures around the Bodensee
Lake Constance Bicycle Path
It was a super fun trip experiencing the different towns and landscapes. All hotels were acceptable and some were exceptional. My favorites were Lindau and Konstanz. We had 2 rainy days, so got lucky with weather. Austrias Fänder bahn was worth it too.

Beautiful Ride in Italy’s Wine Country
Piedmont Region: The Italian Garden of Eden
We had a wonderful ride through wine country. The route was nicely designed with stops in lovely towns and comfortable hotels. We used E-Bikes, so for long ascents, it was not a problem. Before the trip we upgraded our hotel in Asti and we were told by others that was a wise move. It was a wonderful way to see the and experience the country. The route had us go through small villages and farms. We were on secondary roads and bike paths for 95% of the time, only short times with a little car traffic.
The first two days were flat rides to Pinerolo and Saluzzo through farms. The remainder of the trip was hilly with some fun descents. It was a great trip!!- What was the date of your tour?

Mosel Trip Trier to Koblenz
Rhine Bike Path: Mainz to Cologne
Great laid back trip along the Mosel. We stopped for a wine tasting in a quaint winery along the route, enjoyed riding through the many vineyards and along the bike paths. There were a lot of flowers so very beautiful. A few too many areas riding alongside roads but it was usually along a bikepath right next to the road. We had a great time, a lot of laughs and enjoyed the little villages.

A "watered-down" cycling trip
Vienna to Budapest (Classic)
No fault of your operator, we arrived in Vienna in midst of Storm Boris, and historic Danube flooding. While the tour operator did great job trying to accomodate for ever changing conditions, we only managed to cycle 3 of 6 days... Flooding made sections impassable, including last couple days. What we did see while cycling was not particularly scenic. And I'd heard that the Vienna/Budapest ride was not the best of sections to ride along the Danube, but my experience was limited. Bratislava was definitely worth a stay over and Budapest is a city we enjoyed very much throughout our extended stay (5 nights).

Lake Constance Bicycle Path
Great time of year to do this trip. Not crowded. Weather was perfect, not too hot and mostly dry. E-bikes were great, even for first-time users.
