Can’t change the weather. Boat crew and food was excellent. Everyone tried their best to make the trip as good as they could. Kudos to all involved. Bikes were excellent and well maintained.

Danube Bike and Boat Tour
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
Due to the massive rainstorm and subsequent flooding and high water levels, our 4 country bike and boat tour was changed to a two country tour. The captain and tour guide were quick and clear with our options on day 1. Two thirds of the people left the tour the next day to remake their own plans. We decided to stay. Our boat stayed in Passau for 5 days and we used these days to explore by bike the surrounding area. Our tour guide gave us alternative rides to do and the staff on board the boat were amazing and provided us with wonderful food and service. Early on day 6 we woke up in Linz. A bus trip to Vienna for the day was arranged, we decided to explore Linz by bike. Day 7 we were able to bike from Aschach to Engelhartszell before ending the tour the next day. Although this was not the tour we originally booked and expected, we made the best of a situation that was beyond anyone’s control. I commend the staff for doing their best to make our trip memorable.

First Boat/Bike tour; would do it again!
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
Our guide and boat crew were great. We had some bad weather and they worked together to make up for it by diverting to other islands. We used e bikes with pedal assist; they were very nice bikes. There were extra bikes and batteries in case of problems. There was a nice balance of boat, bike, and independent on shore time

Fabulous trip!
Danube Delights: Biking through Four Countries
What a great way to visit four countries and bike through the lovely countryside. We chose to follow the map on the app ourselves and not have a guide which worked perfectly for us as it gave us more freedom to set our own schedule. We thoroughly enjoyed Leslie, our cruise director, who was full of energy and made each person feel special. The electric bikes were great quality and the crew did all the work moving them on and off the boat for our rides. This is a great introduction for us to the bike and boat world!

Best trip ever!!!!
Bruges – Amsterdam by Bike and Boat
This was our first bike tour, and we did not know what to expect. It was better than what we hoped it would be and I would recommend this trip to everyone! Our bike guide, Andri was amazing! He always made sure everyone was together, comfortable with the route and their bike. He was great at explaining where we were going, what to expect and set a perfect pace for the electric bikers and pedal bikers. The sites on the ride were beautiful! It was a great route and we saw many different views along the way from windmills, to fields, a cheese farm and beautiful quaint towns. Our cook on the barge, Amil did an amazing job! Our food was perfect. Breakfast was always tasty and after breakfast we packed a quick sandwich and fruit for lunch. Exactly what we needed midway through our ride. Dinners were absolutely delicious. We had a wide variety of food and it was always fresh, accompanied with an appetizer to start and dessert at the end. he spoiled us! Craig was the assistant chef and assistant for everything! He too, always made sure everything was running smoothly and made sure everyone had what they needed. Our captain, Coen, got us through the canals and locks and to our destinations safely. He even did a city tour with us one night and did an amazing job. The crew all seemed to love their jobs. They were all happy and friendly, and truly made our trip amazing! If we could’ve, we would’ve booked another trip on our last day. We’ll definitely be back!!! Thanks for an amazing experience in Europe!

Great great trip
Pearls of Dalmatia by Bike and Boat, Romantica
What a great trip. Except for the condition of the "hybrid" bike I had (did not use e-bike), everything about this trip was beyond expectations...cabin, food, support, guides. My wife and I have been on other bike trips and have loved them. This trip was truly the best we have done. Everything was done to make the trip 5 stars. Modifications, when needed, were made with consideration for providing the best experience possible. For the casual rider or not in top notch condition
individual, an e-bike, is a must and will make the riding experience way fun. The islands are beautiful. The ride routes have challenging climbs. Guides were extremely knowledgeable, and supportive. The Romantica is charming and seemed the perfect match and vibe for the itinerary.
There are newer and more "glamorous" ships we encountered, but was glad to be on the Romantica.Highest recommendation.
As noted above, my only negative was the non e-bikes provided us. I am an very experienced rider and the bikes provided (the first one was not in acceptable riding condition, and the second provide was just slightly better) were poorly maintained, with shifters not working properly, rusty chains, etc., the wrong size for me, and the rides would have been way more enjoyable on a "good" bike. E-bikes appeared in good condition and well maintained.
In spite of this, I loved this trip.

A Sampler of Riding Along German Rivers

Great barge, crew, and food. Knowledgeable, helpful guides.
While there were interesting sights along the Main, and the Rhine, I found the riding along the Mosel to be the most scenic - and the least affected by traffic noise, etc.

How a tour guide can ruin what could have been a great experience
Provence by Bike and Boat
While the cycling was good, scenery lovely, other passengers and crew delightful, the irritatingly arrogant sexist and intrusive behaviours by our tour guide (Heim) who claimed to have built the company, put a huge damper on the trip for many of us. Although we enjoyed the bikes, the meal times were chaos due to too many passengers in too small a space. Also the general condition of the boat, Caprice, needs improvement.

National Parks of Dalmatia by Bike/E-bike and Boat
This was a great way to see a lot of places in Croatia. The boat crew and guides were fabulous!! The food was amazing, the rooms were very comfortable - so happy to have air conditioning! We had a great group of people on the boat and went away new friends from all over. The e-bikes were necessary because of the hills. I would definitely do another bike cruise with this company!

First trip to Greece
Enchanting Cyclades and Saronic Islands
We greatly enjoyed this tour. It was our first time using e-bikes and that made the rides very enjoyable. The crew was very professional and prepared delicious meals also. Our guides, Mary Lou and Isabel did a wonderful job sharing history and guiding us through the five Islands we visited. They were a joy to spend time with and very professional as well. We enjoyed getting to know the other couples on board as we shared our meals and rides together. Although some high winds prevented us from going to all of the islands listed in the tour, I can highly recommend it just the same.

Danube Experience Bike and Boat Passau-Vienna-Budapest-Belgrade-Iron Gates-Passau
It's so nice to be pampered and set up for success on an adventure that includes zero daily packing/unpacking and great routes on a bike. The meals were way above expectations and the e-bikes were perfect.
It would be nice if the information about fees for ferries, bus, etc. with the required currencies could be included accurately in the pre-trip materials or the navigation app.

The crew on the Zwaan were amazing! Captain Reinold was gracious and did an excellent job at navigating the boat through the locks and moorings. Sabine the assistant did an amazing job at making us comfortable on the boat. How she managed to do many jobs with ease was a skill to admire. Theo the chef introduced us to many dishes from around the world that were delicious . Piet the bike guide showed us many different sites and managed to keep us together as a group even though we had various abilities. So grateful we had pleasure of pedaling and sharing meals with the other guests! They each brought something unique to the table. This trip was an amazing adventure that we will remember and share with family and friends. Thank you for an awesome adventure!!

Great time on the Danube
Danube Delights: Cycling and Cruising in the Footsteps of Royalty
We had a wonderful time in Austria, and sailing down the Danube on the Swiss Crown. There were some many beautiful sites to see when walking or riding a bike through the different cities. The Swiss Crown is a beautiful ship, with a great staff.
