You’ll ride onto Odeonsplatz, built to impress, and named after the former concert hall, The Odeon, on its northwestern side. You’ll be amazed by the magnificent dome-turreted building nestling commanding statues.
Your bicycle tour takes you on to Hofgarten, an Italian Renaissance-style garden offering splendid fountains, lawns, and vibrant borders. You’ll see nods to the Greek style again in the Monopteros, the garden’s hilltop temple. Cycling to the Chinese Tower, you’ll be astounded by this delicate feat of architectural beauty modeled on Kew Gardens’ ‘Great Pagoda’. The five-storey wooden structure, first constructed in 1789–1790, peers out dramatically amongst the trees.

Approx. 2 hours by train or bus from Munich(depending on the day of travel) to Füssen and Hohenschwangau. From Hohenschwangau, an uphill walk of approx. 30 minutes at a moderate walking pace.
- Is the uphill walk from Hohenschwangau to Neuschwanstein Castle difficult?
Not for anyone with average fitness. We do not recommend our day trip to Neuschwanstein Castle to anyone with health or mobility problems.
- Is the Neuschwanstein Castle Tour suitable for people with wheelchairs or serious mobility problems?
No, sadly not. An uphill walk is required to reach Neuschwanstein Castle, and the castle interior contains a lot of stairs.
- How long does the Neuschwanstein Castle Tour last?
