Your e-bike tour brings you right to the heart of Bellecour Square, one of the largest open squares in Europe and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the center of the Place Bellecour is a staggering equestrian statue of King Louis XIV, ruling over the square. The statue you see today was installed in 1825, the original of 1713 having been reduced to its materials during the French Revolution to build a cannon! Sitting right in the center of Lyon, the Place Bellecour is the focus of the city’s four main streets and boasts brilliant views of the Vieux Lyon and Lyon Cathedral just over the Saône.

You’ll continue getting a feel for the city at Fourvière Hill where you can enjoy a phenomenal panoramic view of Lyon from above. The hill is also a site of staggering history - in 43 BC, Romans chose the site of Fourvière Hill to be the center of ‘Lugdunum’, now Lyon. On its crest stands an emblem of the city - the Basilique de Fourvière.

Your guided e-bike tour takes you through the Tunnel de la Croix-Rousse, one of the world’s most sustainable travel tunnels opened in 2013. As you cycle through this unique tube that burrows beneath the hill of La Croix-Rousse, you can enjoy stunning lights, video displays, and even music, installed for the entertainment of cyclists and pedestrians! This rogue route takes you on to the Tête d’Or Park, where you’ll discover a gorgeous green oasis amidst the city hubbub.
