Your guided day tour kicks off with a car transfer to the Londorossi Gate, entrance point to the Mount Kilimanjaro National Park’s northwestern slope. The views offered even in this motorized part of the journey are spectacularly scenic, as the peak of Kibo peers out from under the clouds and the emerald slopes of the volcano gleam in the sunlight as your car weaves its way to the base.

Your mountain bike is well-equipped for the cycle through the Moorland Zone, via a ride through the rich rainforests of Kilimanjaro, where exotic flowers provide enchanting eruptions of color amongst the foliage. Making your way through the Moorland Zone, your senses will be fired up by two unforgettable views - the towering, snow-tipped peak of Kibo looming overhead, and the soothing expanses of the Maasai land beneath. Depending on the weather, your guided tour will enjoy a packed lunch with sensational panoramic views from the Shira Plateau, or a sheltered break in which to fully take in your surroundings on the side of the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro.
