Your mountain bike tour begins in Moshi as you make your way to the verdant neighborhood of Shanty Town, where burgeoning branches arch over wide roads and luscious lawns stretch before upscale residential houses. You’ll soak up the sights of this serene neighborhood before continuing on to Kibosho Village.

Your adventure in Kibosho Village begins as soon as you get a clear view of Mount Kilimanjaro towering majestically in the distance - an incredible backdrop for your day of discovery and delicious tastings! Bike your way through fragrant fields of coffee, corn, and bananas, each a different square in the tapestry of the Tanzanian landscape.

Once you’ve been greeted by the locals and made to feel at home, you’ll settle down for a sumptuous traditional lunch. Kibosho knows how to cater to its guests! Enjoy several Chagga specialities - from mouth watering Mtori (banana soup) to nourishing Ndizi Nyama (banana & meat), and many more delicious delicacies, topped off with a typical Chagga banana beer!

Having sampled some fascinating flavors and learnt all about the beliefs, songs, and farming methods of the Chagga people, your guided tour will take you on to one of the oldest churches in Tanzania - the Gothic Catholic Church. Park up your bicycle in the shadows of the two towers and admire the architecture of this famous monument just outside Moshi. When you’re ready to return, your guide will lead you on a downhill ride through dramatic scenery, back to base in the city.
