    • Day 1: Arrival in Paris
Welcome to Paris! Boarding begins at 11:00 AM, when you can drop off your luggage. There is a full welcome by the crew and tour leader at 2:00 PM. Your floating hotel for the week - the Fleur - will then depart from central Paris and start its scenic journey along the Seine River to Evry, where you will moor for the night.

Recommendation: Arrive in Paris a day or two early to fully explore the city at your leisure! We offer a number of cycling day tours in Paris and Versailles.

      Day 2: Evry – Melun (19 mi. / 30 km)
Your e-bike tour begins with a pedal along peaceful riverbanks and tree-lined routes to Melun, once known as the 'Domain of the White Queens' – widows of French royalty. You'll cycle a relaxed and scenic route ideal for all fitness levels. After dinner aboard, enjoy a guided walk through the historic heart of Melun.

      Day 3: Melun – Moret-sur-Loing (25 mi. / 40 km)
Today’s ride takes you deep into the Fontainebleau Forest, where towering trees and tranquil trails await. You’ll stop in Barbizon, the 19th-century Impressionist artists' village that gave rise to the Barbizon School of painters. Visit local galleries or the museum dedicated to Barbizon's artistic heritage.

From there, pedal on to the Château de Fontainebleau – a former residence of Napoleon and centuries of French monarchs. Your day finishes in the medieval town of Moret-sur-Loing, an enchanting location that inspired Impressionist painter Alfred Sisley.

      Day 4: Moret-sur-Loing – Nemours (23 or 31 mi. / 38 or 51 km)
Following the quiet Loing Valley, today's e-bike tour winds through peaceful countryside and charming villages like Grez-sur-Loing and Bourron-Marlotte. Art lovers will enjoy admiring the Impressionist works housed in the local town hall.

The day's ride concludes in Nemours, home to a beautiful 12th-century castle that is now a museum showcasing regional art, archeology, and ceramics.

      Day 5: Nemours – Néronville (22 or 27 mi. / 35 or 45 km)
The morning begins with breakfast on board as the barge cruises onwards. You’ll ride along scenic woodland trails and past striking rock formations on today's electric bike tour. A highlight of the day will be a visit to the open-air sculpture park - Jardin Bourdelle. End the day in tranquil Néronville, a quiet village surrounded by rolling countryside—perfect for a peaceful evening.

      Day 6: Néronville – Montargis (19 or 34 mi. / 31 or 55 km)
Start the day in the hilltop town of Château-Landon, where cobbled streets and panoramic views await. Explore the 13th-century Abbey of Saint-Severin before continuing on to Ferrières-en-Gâtinais, a picturesque medieval town with a stunning monastery. Finish in Montargis, a charming town known for its canals and flower-lined bridges. Dinner is at your leisure this evening— we recommend taking the opportunity to sample local cuisine in one of Montargis’ cozy restaurants.

      Day 7: Montargis (28 mi. / 45 km)
Your final cycling day includes a loop ride from Montargis through the lush Ouanne Valley to Château-Renard. Here, explore the remains of a 10th-century fortress before heading to the Living Museum of Beekeeping, where you'll learn from local apiculturists and taste their handcrafted honey. Return to Montargis in the afternoon with time to relax or explore before your last evening aboard.

      Day 8: Departure from Montargis
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to your guides and fellow travelers. You'll disembark with wonderful memories of cycling through the French countryside, charming towns, royal castles, and riverside paths.

All cycling distances are approximate and the itinerary may change due to factors such as weather, lock or bridge maintenance, or mooring adjustments. If there are 18 guests or more, a second cycling guide will join the tour. Most days offer both shorter and longer e-bike routes, depending on group preferences and conditions. With fewer than 18 participants, a single multilingual and experienced tour leader will guide the group and choose the day’s route in consultation with guests.

    • Day 1: Arrival in Montargis
Welcome to Montargis! Boarding begins at 11:00 AM, when you can drop off your luggage. Official cabin check-in begins at 2:00 PM and there is a full welcome by the crew and tour leader at 3:00 PM. At 4:00 PM, you'll be fitted for your e-bike and briefed on safety procedures. Day 2: Montargis (28 mi. / 45 km)
Montargis, nicknamed the 'Venice of the Gâtinais', is known for its pretty flower-decked bridges. The town makes for a beautiful starting point for your first day's ride! Pedal along scenic routes following the l’Ouanne River to Château-Renard, where you can explore the remains of a 10th-century fortress. Later, visit the Living Museum of Beekeeping, meeting local beekeepers and sampling fresh, regional honey. Day 3: Montargis - Lock of Cepoy | Lock of Cepoy - Néronville (24 or 28 mi. / 39 or 46 km)
Relax in the morning as the barge cruises to the lock of Cepoy. Disembarking here, your e-bike tour will take you through the ancient forests northeast of Montargis. Wander the narrow, historic streets of Ferrières-en-Gâtinais, home to a magnificent medieval monastery. Then, continue west toward the archeological site of Sceaux-du-Gâtinais before reaching today’s peaceful destination: Néronville, nestled among gentle countryside.

      Day 4: Néronville - Nemours (18 or 26 mi. / 29 or 43 km)
Today’s ride explores one of France’s oldest cultivated regions. Your first stop is Château-Landon, an atmospheric town perched dramatically above the Fusain River. Wander its picturesque alleys, terraced gardens, and historic monuments before enjoying a guided tour of the 13th-century Abbey of Saint-Severin. Later, cycle past rugged rock formations as you approach Nemours, where you can choose to visit the historic château or the region’s Prehistoric Museum.

      Day 5: Nemours - Moret-sur-Loing (19 or 28 mi. / 32 or 46 km)
Choose between two stunning cycling routes today! Opt for the longer ride through the Lunain Valley, passing traditional farmhouses, castle ruins, and artisan producers where you can pick up homemade jam or cheese. Alternatively, follow the Loing River to Grez-sur-Loing, home to a collection of remarkable Impressionist paintings housed in the town hall. Tonight’s destination is Moret-sur-Loing, a fortified medieval gem and the birthplace of painter Alfred Sisley.

      Day 6: Moret-sur-Loing - Melun (25 mi. / 40 km)
Today’s route winds through the grand forests of Fontainebleau. Your first stop is the town of Fontainebleau itself, where you can visit the legendary Château de Fontainebleau, a former residence of French royalty and Napoleon. After time to explore or shop, continue to the village of Barbizon, once a haven for 19th-century landscape painters who founded the famed Barbizon School. The day ends in Melun, a historic town once known as the 'Domain of the White Queens' for its royal connections.

Day 7: Melun - Lock of Evry | Lock of Evry - Paris (19 mi. / 31 km)
Today marks the final leg of your e-bike tour. A shorter ride along the banks of the Seine leads to the lock of Evry. Here, board the Fleur once again and enjoy a leisurely cruise into the heart of Paris. Savor a delicious onboard lunch as you drift past the river scenery. The barge docks at Port de l’Arsenal, ideally located near Notre-Dame Cathedral, giving you easy access to explore the 'City of Light'.

      Day 8: Departure from Paris
After breakfast, it's time to bid farewell to your fellow cyclists and crew and depart.
