    • A dynamic bike tour from Dubrovnik to Herzegovina and back

If you want a day of serious discovery biking in Croatia, this guided bike tour to Herzegovina and back will be just your bag, with the added benefit of bike rental! Along the atmospheric route, you'll take in Zavala and the picturesque edges of the epic Popovo Polje Valley, where Croats and Bosnian Serbs waged war in the 90s - observant cyclists might pick out the subtle scars left by the conflict in the rugged beauty of the landscape here.

Having transferred to Brgat, your bike tour will begin just a few kilometers from Bosnia. Soon, you'll cross the border onto an old railroad - a curious remnant of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Your cycling route, now paved, skirts the spectacular Popovo Polje Valley, where mountains rise above the verdant green fields glinting emerald in the sunlight. You'll make a stop for lunch in the small village of Zavala, home to the largest cave in the region, Vjetrenica, as well as a medieval orthodox monastery dating back to the 15th Century. Your epic ride will continue, with a transfer back home once you reach Ivanica.

        A great way to explore

        · Road Bike Tour from Dubrovnik to Herzegovina & Back

The trek from Dubrovnik to the small town of Ravno in Herzegovina return was exceptional as we were able to complete a 92km loop that only required us to backtrack one small section of the route.
Our Guide Alex was very friendly, knowledgeable and safety conscious.
One of the highlights of this journey was the great lunch at Hotel Stanica in Ravno prior to completing the return trek via Slano.
Thanks again for making my first European cycling adventure a memorable one.

A great way to see the area!
We enjoyed riding and taking in all of the scenery and having Alex explain historical events that took place so many years ago.
