Discover the breathtaking beauty of Croatia’s Kvarner Bay and the Adriatic Coast! Sail through crystal-clear waters, explore charming island towns, and cycle through landscapes known for their stunning natural scenery.
Begin in the coastal town of Omišalj, a gateway to the Kvarner Gulf, before setting sail to the serene island of Cres, where medieval streets and unspoiled nature await. Pedal through fragrant pine forests and picturesque harbors on Lošinj, known as the 'Island of Vitality', and embrace the peaceful ambiance of Molat, a hidden gem of the Adriatic.
Continue your adventure to the rugged coastline of Dugi Otok, where breathtaking vistas and pristine beaches create a cyclist’s paradise. Experience the vibrant energy of Zadar, a historic city blending Roman ruins with modern marvels, before crossing to the moon-like landscapes of Pag, famous for its lace-making and distinctive cheese.
The journey then takes you to Rab, the 'Happy Island', where sandy beaches and medieval charm offer the perfect blend of relaxation and exploration. Finally, return to the island of Krk, the largest in the Adriatic, where you can toast to an incredible adventure with local wine and warm hospitality.
Daily Program
Day 1: Arrival in Omišalj | Sailing Omišalj – Rabac
Individual arrival to the island of Krk. Check-in is between 1:00 pm and 1:30 pm in the port of Omišalj, with departure scheduled for 2:00 pm. Your journey starts with a scenic cruise to Rabac, a charming seaside resort on the Istrian Peninsula. Enjoy a stroll along the promenade or relax at a local café as you get acquainted with your fellow travelers. Overnight stay in Rabac.
Day 2: Rabac – Labin – Cres Island (24 mi. / 39 km)
Your first ride begins with a steady uphill climb from Rabac to the picturesque hilltop town of Labin. Soak in panoramic views over Kvarner Bay before pedaling through Istrian villages and countryside. After returning to Labin for lunch, descend back to Rabac and board the ship for a cruise to Cres Island. Tonight’s destination: the Italian-influenced harbor town of Cres.
Day 3: Cres Island – Lošinj Island (17 mi. / 28 km)
Start the day with a tranquil ride across Cres Island to the coastal village of Martinšćica. Rejoin the boat and enjoy lunch on board as you cruise to Lošinj Island. Weather permitting, take a refreshing swim along the way. Dock in Mali Lošinj, known for its colorful waterfront and relaxed Mediterranean vibe. Overnight stay in Mali Lošinj.
Day 4: Lošinj Island – Ilovik Island (12 mi. / 20 km)
Cycle along the scenic southern coast of Lošinj to the vibrant port of Veli Lošinj. After the morning ride, return to the ship for lunch and sail to the peaceful island of Ilovik. Unwind with a swim stop en route or upon arrival. Enjoy the quiet charm of this lesser-known island for a restful evening under the stars.
Day 5: Rab Island (16 mi. / 25 km)
Explore Rab Island by bike on a diverse loop tour showcasing its forest paths, seaside promenades, and tranquil coves. Return to the boat and spend the afternoon discovering Rab’s historic old town. A guided tour in the evening highlights the island’s fascinating past. Overnight stay in the port of Rab.
Day 6: Krk Island (13 mi. / 21 km)
Sail to the island of Krk and disembark in the island's capital. Today’s cycling route takes you inland through gentle hills, vineyards, and rustic villages. In the afternoon, return to the town of Krk where cobbled streets, charming alleyways, and seaside cafés await. Overnight stay in Krk town.
Day 7: Island of Krk (28 mi. / 45 km)
Your final cycling day is a feast for the senses! Ride over fragrant hills, through vineyards, and on to Vrbnik, a medieval town perched on a 50-meter-high cliff, known for producing the famous Žlahtina white wine. Explore its narrow alleyways (including one of the narrowest streets in the world) before continuing across the island through lush countryside to Omišalj. Along the way, enjoy a swim in Soline Bay before returning to the boat for a special farewell dinner.
Day 8: Omišalj
Disembarkation by 9:00 am. Individual departure or extend your Croatian adventure with a few extra days in this beautiful region.

Pre-Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Thursday: Arrival in Zagreb
Upon arrival at Zagreb Airport, a private transfer will take you to your centrally located 4-star hotel. After check-in, take some time to explore this vibrant capital at your own pace—stroll through the charming streets, enjoy a coffee at a local café, or visit one of its fascinating museums. In the late afternoon, you can join a guided walking tour or opt for a bike tour (starting at 5 pm from May 1) to discover the city’s highlights. Overnight stay in Zagreb.
Day 2
Friday: Transfer to Omišalj
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Zagreb—perhaps with a relaxed breakfast or one last wander through the historic squares. At 11:30 am, a private transfer will take you to Omišalj, where your bike and boat tour begins.
Post-Tour Itinerary
Day 1
Friday: Arrival in Zagreb from Omišalj
After disembarking in Omišalj, a private transfer departs at 8:00 am to take you back to Zagreb. Once settled into your 4-star hotel, you’ll have the rest of the day to explore—wander through the charming old town, enjoy a meal in one of the city’s fantastic restaurants, or join a guided walking or bike tour (bike tour starts at 5 pm from May 1). Overnight stay in Zagreb.

Saturday: Departure from Zagreb
A private transfer will take you to Zagreb Airport at your scheduled departure time.

Diamond frame
The hybrid bike with a diamond frame is a thoughtfully designed touring bike ideal for Bike & Boat tours. With 24 gears and a 28-inch wheel, it strikes a balance between performance and simplicity. Built by a small, specialized manufacturer, these bikes prioritize reliability, ease of maintenance, and weight reduction by including only the essential components. Riders can choose between two frame sizes—56 cm or 60 cm—to best match their height and comfort preferences.

The trapeze frame are designed for comfort and practicality, especially suited for female riders. Like the diamond frame bikes, they feature 24 gears and 28-inch wheels, and come equipped with Shimano gear and brake systems, a pannier rack, mudguards, a bike stand, and a Selle Royal touring saddle for enhanced riding comfort. These bikes are available in two frame sizes: 46 cm or 52 cm trapeze frame.

Surface and terrain
This guided bike and boat tour is rated moderate to difficult, with daily biking distances of 18-28 miles (20-45 km). These distances require participants to have considerable fitness levels - you should be accustomed to consistent biking.
The terrain is mountainous and hilly with some long (and steep) climbs, reaching an altitude of 200-500 meters at times. You don't have to worry about time - participants can take as long as they need on the climbs. E-bike upgrades are available, but e-bike users must be aware that the tour pace is set by those using regular bikes who need more time to rest and climb the hills.
Participants will hear from their guide ahead of each day what the route section will involve. You always have the choice to skip a biking day to spend leisure time sunbathing on the boat.
The tour takes place on mostly asphalted roads with light traffic. More traffic is expected around towns during peak season.
How to get there
The closest international airport is Rijeka. If flying into Zagreb Airport, transfers on Day 1 run from Zagreb city center at 11:30 am and from Zagreb Airport at 12:15 pm.
Group transfers (with a fee) to and from either airport on arrival and departure day are available (see Pricing), or you can take a taxi to the boat. We strongly advise booking this collective transfer. Mooring details are provided prior to your arrival.
Departure day transfers from Omisalj to Zagreb Airport start at 8:00 am, so please book your return flight after 12:00 pm. If using Rijeka Airport, please provide your flight information and we will advise on transfers. All transfers must be reserved ahead of time - please contact us to arrange, providing your flight schedule and cell number.
