Bike around the best of Bucharest on this guided highlights tour of the city, with the added benefit of bike rental!

Starting off in the Old City Center, learn from your friendly guide all about the dawn of Romanian civilization, and the events and buildings that make Bucharest the splendid city it is today. Cycle up to the CEC Palace and admire one of the most intricate exteriors in Bucharest, a mixture of Eclectic and Beaux-Arts architecture.

The sensational Stavropoleos Monastery Church is next, featuring more exquisite stonework to dazzle the eyes and capture the imagination. You’ll have discovered by now that Bucharest is a city of stunning architecture!

Manuc’s Inn is Bucharest’s oldest operating hotel, now also home to trendy restaurants and cafes. The history here is truly fascinating and your guide will be on hand with all the information!

Ride up to the colossal Palace of Parliament, the heaviest building in the world (a hefty 4.10 million tonnes), and the world’s second-largest administrative building. This is the seat of Romania’s Parliament and an icon of the city, with a social realist and neoclassical façade.

Cycling on to City Hall, take in the view of a building of administrative and aesthetic significance. Just across the road are the Cismigiu Gardens, an English-style garden boasting blossoming flowerbeds and a blissful boating lake. Enjoy the rejuvenating ride through this urban oasis before you ride on to the Roman Atheneum, a stupendous concert hall evocative of Athens.

Ride to the Royal Palace and behold the breathtaking baroque exterior as your bicycle tour reaches its finale at Revolution Square, scene of Ceaușescu’s last speech.
