Its spire rises to over 400 feet, making this church one of the tallest buildings in the city. Take a moment of tranquility on this day tour as you stop off at the Beguinage. This peaceful, walled community located in the center of Bruges was founded in the 13th century. It began as a home to a community of unmarried religious women who devoted their lives to prayer, but did not take religious vows. Today, the Beguinage is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and is home to an order of nuns. Wander around the buildings and church of the community's central square, which is blanketed with bright yellow daffodils every spring.
Bruges is famous for its historic windmills, which date back to the 18th century. Round off your sightseeing by riding along the city's ramparts, and following the canal to arrive at the four windmills that remain today. Beautiful day with excellent bike tour in this magic city
It is the great way to see and expirience this lovely city because you have enough time to see all main landmarks and also to hear some interesting stories and historical facts from your guide. Our guide Kim was very proffesional and helphful, she knew so many about Brugge and Belgia afterall, so it was as interesting as it was instructive. Terrific bike tour of Bruges!

Exceptional and Fun Bike Ride

Cycling around Bruges
Joost was our tour guide. He's local and speaks English very well. Joost used stories to tell us about the history of Bruges. The ride is on cobblestone, but the bicycle seats are very comfortable so I did not notice any discomfort. We traveled about 7 or 8 km. It was an easy ride with many stops. We never felt rushed and was free to ask any questions. We had time to take photos at each stop. A very nice tour.

Nice and best way to know Brugges
