Discover Boston’s historic neighborhoods and iconic city views

Discover Boston’s historic neighborhoods and striking skyline on this 3-hour bike tour of the city. In half a day, you’ll take in a selection of Boston’s top highlights, including the Charles River Esplanade, Copley Square, Fenway Park, Boston Common, and more.

Starting in the North End, your Boston bike tour begins with views of Charlestown from the city’s oldest residential neighborhood. Nicknamed ‘Little Italy’, Boston’s North End is an enchanting maze of narrow streets and historic buildings nestling over 100 Italian restaurants, cafes, and bakeries.

Riding along the Charles River Esplanade, enjoy views of two of the United States’ most prestigious universities – Cambridge and MIT – from Boston’s Back Bay neighborhood.

You’ll then bike to the Boston University campus and Kenmore Square, the eastern terminus of the USA’s longest highway – U.S. Route 20.

From here, you’ll find yourselves at Fenway Park, home field of baseball’s Boston Red Sox since 1912.

Your Boston bicycle tour then continues to the Christian Science Plaza, home to two astonishing historic churches and a 690 x 100 ft reflecting pool.

Carrying on through Copley Square, you’ll admire the magnificent facades of the Boston Public Library and John Hancock Building in an area also famous as the finish line for the Boston Marathon.

As you cycle onwards through the Back Bay and South End neighborhoods, your guide will point out the historic Boston Brownstones – 19th-century rowhouses built from brown sandstone with ornate facades that have become some of Boston’s most coveted properties.

Biking onwards to Boston Common, explore the quintessential surroundings of the oldest city park in the United States, founded in 1634.

Riding further, you’ll discover the much more modern Rose Kennedy Greenway – a linear urban park of landscaped gardens, promenades, and plazas.

Finally, your eclectic Boston bike tour winds up at Long Wharf, where visitors are afforded iconic views of South and East Boston from Boston’s historic pier.
