The MS Patria has been modernized for bike and boat vacation tours. It features a nice salon with bar and large windows in front of the top deck and a separate restaurant on the Main (lower) deck. On the partially covered sun deck are sitting areas (tables and chairs) and a separate bike storage shed. The ship sails under the Dutch Flag and management and cruised in The Netherlands for many years. Since 2011 it has been operating in Germany, and it is a very popular ship. The interior of the ship is non-smoking zone; smoking is only allowed on the sun deck.
The boat is 223 ft/68 meters long and can accommodate a maximum of 68 guests.
The MS Patria has 2 passenger decks with 34 total cabins. The Main (lower) deck has 15 cabins, and the Promenade (upper) deck has 19 cabins. The cabins are approximately 75 square feet (7 M2). The windows on the Promenade deck can open, but the Main deck windows do not open. Cabins on the Main deck have individually regulated air conditioning systems.
All cabins feature:
- 2 low twin beds set at right angle to each other
- Private bathroom with shower and toilet
