This bike tour combines a tranquil ride in the mediterranean climate of the Barossa Valley’s fertile hills with the very best of the region's exquisite food and wine offerings. Begin your day tour with a stop at Yalumba, family wine-makers established in 1849 when a British emigre settled in the small town of Angaston and planted his first vine.

Today, Yalumba leads viticulture in Australia and is the only wine-maker in the southern hemisphere to operate a cooperage, where the oak barrels in which the wine matures are created. Your stop at Yalumba on this bicycle tour will include a guided tour of the cooperage and factory, as well as the opportunity to learn about the history of winemaking and ask questions to the expert winemakers who'll show you around.

From here, hop back in the saddle and ride on through the rolling hills of the Barossa Valley. After a leisurely cycle, you'll arrive at the Barossa Valley Chocolate Company, where your exploration of the region's finest producers continues with a hot chocolate and cake.

After savoring this indulgent experience, you'll cycle on through the valley before reaching Artisans, the next stop on this guided tour. This innovative wine tasting space is the result of eight small wine producers from the region coming together to offer over 100 local wines for tasting.
