Tanzania: Arusha to Longido
This tour takes cyclists from Arusha to Longido and back and features traditional Maasai dance and arts and crafts. Along the route, you'll be surrounded by Tanzania's imposing mountains, including Mounts Meru, Kilimanjaro, Longido, and Oldonyo Lengai. The tour includes a hike to the base of Mount Longido to watch for exotic birds. Visit a Maasai "boma", consisting of small huts made from mud and straw that are easy to construct and maintain, allowing the village to move quickly if necessary.

Tanzania: Kilimanjaro and Lake Chala Crater Lake
Cycle to Lake Chala, a crater lake on the eastern edge of Mount Kilimanjaro. Lake Chala, depending on the season, ranges in color from deep blue to turquoise green and is home to endangered and exotic African species. You'll hike around the lake under the guidance of a knowledgeable guide, who will point out various flora and fauna along the way.
