Bike tours.com Great; Active Tours Awful

This is a wonderful region to bike but look for a different tour company than Active Tours. Their directions are horrible (important for a self guided tour), hotels booked cancelled *while we were biking that day* and mostly the support offered by ActiveTours was worse than horrible - inexcusable.

BikeTours.com were excellent in covering for the awfulness of Active Tours - if you are thinking of this region just search for a different operator besides Active Tours

Dear Chris, Thanks very much for your feedback and your kind words about the service you received through our dedicated tour advisor team. We take reviews like this very seriously and I hope this shows through the actions we've taken since then to apologize for your experience. This is certainly not the norm for this tour operator who normally receives very positive feedback. We have had discussions with this local tour operator since your tour and are working together to prevent any similar experience in the future. Thank you again for your kind words about BikeTours.com. We look forward to helping you plan your next bike tour in Europe. Kind regards, Lindsay
