Donegal dubbed "The Coolest" by National Geographic

Donegal, Ireland, earned the No. 1 spot on National Geographic Traveller’s Cool List for travel destinations worth visiting in 2017, and we believe strongly that bicycle tours are the best way to experience this amazing region.

What they said…

“With a weather-nibbled coast spotted with sea stacks, Blue Flag beaches and offshore islands, Donegal is a land that feels undiscovered. Last summer, scenes for Star Wars: Episode VIII were filmed on the Inishowen Peninsula. But this area of Ireland is also expecting 2017 to be a big year; there’s an array of reasons to visit, from surfing beaches in Magheraroarty and Ballyhiernan Bay to Horn Head — a driving, walking or cycling loop that squeezes the 1,600-mile Wild Atlantic Way into a 4.5-mile nutshell.”

We’ve always been a fan of cycling tours in Ireland. The rolling hills and coastlines in Connemara in the west. The wild Atlantic scenes and culture in Donegal. The charming metropolis of Dublin on the East. It’s a country as magical as the green imagery and storied castles illustrate.

Here are a few of our offerings, all of which allow you to discover this beautiful country from the vantage point of a bike saddle.
